Students of Maastricht University (Netherlands) are practicing hard for the new World Record they aim to set on Thursday April 23rd, 2009. Under close supervision of fire breathing experts of the Vuurspuwcollege in Valkenswaard (www.vuurspuwen.nl) the students are taught how to ignite their flames. The World Record Attempt is organized by Jules & You (www.julesandyou.com), a student service company in Maastricht, and takes place in the annual Ragweek of Maastricht University. The profits of the attempt will go to the good cause, childrens orphanage Bachi Amaa in Nepal. On April 23rd Jules & You aims to break the current world record of 267 simultaneous fire breathers with a spectacular amount of 500 fire breathing students. The attempt will take place at 20.00 hrs on location de Griend in Maastricht, and will be supervised by Guinness World Records.
