Lastechniek Europa Film open root pass welding with the Lonestar system

LoneStar system in combination with a EWM Phoenix 522 RC CRP MIG/MAG power source is used.

Welding proces for the root pass: Cold Root Pipe Solution (CRPS), (coldArc variant)
The welding speed for the root pass: more than 18 Cm/min

The coldArc process is a variant of the short-circuit welding process with a completely controlled drop transition and a spatter free weld.
