The backing track was created by Pete Anderson for 2009 Cuitar Center King Of The Blues competition. I downloaded it from official GCKOTB website, where 25 backing tracks are available for free download. I hope uploading my video here does not constitue any sort of copyright infringement. I composed this tune myself for 2009 KOTB competition. Enjoy!

  • Did you use any delay pedals on this video? Your amps sound great!!!

  • @unohu2 Thanks! I used Ibanez AD9

  • Nice arrangement. Did you participate in the KOTB contest?

  • Thanks! Yes, I did ... it was pretty sad, actually ... I was really prepared to lose, since I'm mostly musical but not all that technically skilled ... but what i was not at all prepared to, is that I would lose to guys who would play at a kinder garden level ... I still can't quite understand w.t.f. happened there that day ay San Jose GC, but it was seriously wrong ...

  • Hey man, don't feel bad, I saw the same exact thing happen up here in Washington state. A beginner 16 year old beat several players that were worlds better... what on earth they were judging for, I have no clue.

Nice video BTW, very tasteful. :)

  • Thanks for the cheerful comment, man !

  • awesome tone. what color is your 513? is it mccarty tobacco burst? or honey smoke burst? how much does it weigh? heavy or light?

  • NICE GUITAR!!!!

  • I get by with that guitar string Low action?

  • tasty playing

  • absolutely meganice sound

  • Sweet!

  • @HighwayofLife Yeah, asking someone from Guitar Center to judge musical prowess is like asking someone from McDonalds to judge a gourmet chef competition... I worked at one for about 3 mos and it was like an asylum for the musically insane...Gack! I heard more wrong ways to play "enter sandman" than I can count...

I agree, very tasteful playing & and nice tune too.

    Cheers!
