@dledgar1 Eddi Reader, pure voice, has recorded a cd, 'The Songs of Robert Burns', which has my favourite version of this song. Go to Amazon UK website and search the cd title, but it must be 2008 version (they call it "The songs of Robert Burns- Expanded"). It has her best version of this, (better than her live ones here), and also has 'Comin' tho the Rye', which is not on the 2007 version. Thanks, because you've just made me wonder why I don't own it and I'm off to buy it now.

we had a fundraising nite in mitchelstown co cork ireland and gemma kindly played a few songs and from growing up with her living a few miles away from me i never thought i'd see her develope into someone so beautyful and such a great singer,thanks for a great nite and keep up the good work...xxx
