at the time of the last post it was my car :) good power comes down to alot of things as you know, it helps to have good tune, fuel delivery, spark, good intake temps ,compression ratio's, good intake flow,a well tuned exhaust etc. etc etc i also doubt 5thsins figure of 254kw but i really dont doubt you could have that at the front wheels running that turbo.
-
possibly not this car but i have a car running 12psi with this turbo and am running 215fwkw., Cams/etc, its all about the supportiing engine mods
-
with a big 16g turbo you could get 254kw quite easily mate
A stock 4G63 had enough power for FWD so there was no need for a power upgrade.

He replaced the original motor as it blew up, not simply because he wanted more power. The possibilities with a VR4 engine compared to a a g63B Cordia engine are huge, especially since you can buy off the shelf engine parts for the 4G63T. I've got a g63b in mine and I'm happy with it, would swap it out for a 4G63T in a heartbeat if I had the cash though. Cheers for your comment.

I know why he replaced but i was saying he didnt need to upgrade the engine for more power.

To get 254kW at the wheels you do ;). A VR4 engine is alot more practical, simple as that.
