Country guitar legend Big George Moody pickin' on No. 1 West with the Prairie Fire Band - Brian Sklar, Rick Ament, Rob Anderson, Brian Pederson, Rod Janzen and with Fred Pelletier.
What memories!! Big George had more talent in that right thumb than most people have in their entire body. I still wonder what ever happened to his old Gibson Hollow Body. He had such a unique combination of string gauges that no one else could play it because it would fret-out and dis-chord but put it in his hands and it was transformed into a thing of beauty. He will always be #1 in my book.H.O. Webber-Westfield, Maine, USA
I would like to say thanks for posting this video. I just found this and some others last night and was completely blown away to see my father on youtube. I haven't seen my father play the guitar since 1986 or7 and last night was an awesome night to get find it as i just graduated from a Master's program and it was like having him be part of it. Thanks again.
@pickyricky1 You do, we do too.

Absolutely incredible. The guy should of been world famous. How does he do that, with only using his thumb?

This fabulous. George was an inspiration (good and bad), but I had the time of my life playing bass with him in 1975.
