@JohnnyDart76 And sadly, the YouTube system never told me that your message was sitting here for a year, waiting to be approved.

You might be interested in the work of Alfie Kohn, especially his book "Unconditional Parenting." He's known primarily for using the system's own data to refute it's own policies like homework and goofy discredited behaviorist mechanisms. However in the aforementioned book he broadened his traditional analysis into attitudes towards children by adults in general.

Thanks.
And I sincerely hope you're right about that.

I liked your analysis of this problem. But you know something, though? I simply cannot agree with your belief that this is the predominant thinking of the population.
Otherwise, I found this to be a very enlightening and intelligent speech, and I mean this in the kindest of ways.

@TheLogicJunkie: Sadly, you have spoken the truth.

It's because the school system was built on the philosophy of communism, where the belief is keeping "the masses" all down equally, under any pretense whatsoever, while an "annointed elite" live like Olympian god-kings. That's why they actually like to have bullying happening, because then their work is half done by the bully, who undermines the otherwise stable and happy victim, which is their global agenda anyway.
Hey thank you for responding to my post. And thank you for clearing that up. I appreciate it. I get what you're saying now.

Whoa!Hold up,dude.I love your vids but I disagree with you on childrearing.I am a mother & grandmother. My kid's ages range from 14-27.I have grandkids who are between the ages of 19 mos and seven years.I'm 43-a rightful age for a Grandma. My kids and my grandkids have to listen to me.I've lived longer than them.I know what's best for them.Kids need rules.Don't use some fucked up child molesting culture to promote yor ideals.Imparitng authority & rules is not abuse.Rules don't = abuse.

I'm pretty sure I didn't say that rules equal abuse, because I don't even think that. What I think is that many so-called "grown-ups" constantly set children up in impossible scenarios, so that they can then enjoy "punishing" them later for their "misbehavior".
The real measure of a "grown-up", I think, should be how much they are dedicated to the establishment of livable infrastructure. I think that until you have reached that point, you're not really a grown-up.
