L4D - How to "fix" the NM4 "tank spawns before elevator is called" problem

The pause may be off, since it requires .1 second precision, which youtube does not seem to have. If the pause is off, let the video load a bit and then drag the slider back to the beginning.

The most recent L4D patch disabled tank parking and changed tank spawns, so now your tank is condemned to die if it spawns at the top before the survivors call the elevator. Or is it?

Start L4D, open console

map l4d_vs_hospital04_interior

The bots should progress through the level and will probably get stuck before calling the elevator. Or you can also use sb_stop 1 when they are close to the elevator just to be safe.

To become a tank, use z_spawn tank while "You are Dead" or in spawn mode. Just make sure the area you are in has enough room for a tank.

Why can't the 360 version play the tank music while you're the tank? The silence is almost boring even when you're beating the hell out of people.
