In this video you mentioned "The Elect" and "The Chosen". I associate these terms with Calvinism. Do you consider yourself a Calvinist Christian, or do you believe in the predestination of saved and damned souls?

In Eph. 1 and Rom. 8:29, Paul seems to indicate Yahweh foresaw and predestined (or chose) those people who would be adopted Sons of God, holy and blameless in His sight, according to His pleasure and His will and in conformity with His plan, so that these adopted Sons of God might be redeemed, and justified, and glorified, and have wisdom.

To me, this does look like Yahweh foresaw and chose those people who are saved.

Do you think God chooses who is saved, or do we choose?

@HappyCabbie If you want to turn your life over to Christ what you must do is repent of your sins and ask Jesus into your heart. Repenting means you need to acknowledge that you are a sinner and turn from those sins. This doesn't mean that you will be sinless, it just means that you know you needs Jesus in your life and that you cannot do it alone. It would help to get a Bible and start attending church at a Bible believing church too. Fill your life with Godly things and let go of the world

I must disagree. Yahweh presents the world of men with the choice of either believing and worshiping him, or suffering eternal damnation in hell. This is analogous to a King who demands loyalty and tribute under penalty of torture. Your position seems to be that the King "doesn't want us to HAVE to" swear loyalty to him. That seems like an unreasonable and unsupportable position, given the open announcement of punishment for noncompliance.

Looking at Cabbie's "Were Atheists Ever Saved?" video, and all the likes that it has on it, I was starting to get depressed as to how many people didn't believe.
