start to think about to seperate persons: this is the headline in the bible.
then if you meet some texts that seem to be hard to understand in this view : most texts are quite easy to understand others are little difficult but not enough evidence to let go of the headline.
This trinity idea has also a pagan origine and that you can check.
thats why it influenced theologicans.
