The second mission in Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield. This time, a group of thugs accidentally stumbled upon some high profile targets of opportunity and have taken them hostage. Rainbow has been tasked with securing the small town and freeing the hostages. Custom plan, run completely by the AI.

  • Is this just the AI playing the game with your planned route, or are you controlling them in any way?

  • @lb8068 This was a custom plan run completely by the AI. Aside from the initial planning stage it's all the computer.

  • M14 + silencer, you got taste sir!

Must say, the soundtrack of this game was more epic than the game itself, almost made it better.

  • @zim01001 Yeah man. Love the M14. For my Gold Team it was the only real choice for them and what their role in the mission was. At 3:52 they were there to kill/suppress the sniper which they accomplished nicely. I suppose I could have given them G3s like my assault teams but the M14 did nicely for the task.

  • Why the M14? pretty heavy weaponry for a CQB hostage rescue, no?

  • Yeah, but Woo and her battle were there for support mostly on the outside. At 3:52 they hit the alley on the right to engage the sniper in the barn. In this run through they just wounded and suppressed the sniper letting Ding's team to approach and clear it mere moments after.

  • Played every single R6 game ever made.

This and Rogue Spear will always be my favorite.

  • you like the L86?

  • @lanmi9659 Mine is around that age but I'm a handy little upgrader and it can run Crysis 1&2 at near full capacity. Peace.

  • @gilless429 Well, I wouldn't buy it, because I know that my PC couldn't run it (8 or 9 years old! xD), but I would definitely want to play it. Peace.

  • @lanmi9659 From Vegas the graphisms and sounds and all the stuff, and from Raven Shield all the rest with a few LIGHT ameliorations, that'd be a game I'd buy for sure.

  • @gilless429 Mix Vegas and Raven Shield and you'll get a pro game.

  • @lanmi9659 In Raven Shield you plan what you're gonna do. That's the main difference. And I know Vegas has got a more special forces feeling. That's the point. They're getting more people to buy it by making it easy to play, and that's why you get that feeling, because you're having an easier time and feel like you're good and cool. Nothing serious and professional on the other hand. Movie-like, not reality-like.

  • @gilless429 What I'm saying is: in terrorist hunt, for example, your task is to "gear up, shoot the f out of everyone and get out". BUT, you can choose routes and stuff. Btw, don't get me wrong. Raven Shield is a better game, but I get a more special forces feeling in Vegas. You know, rappeling, breaching and stuff. They should just remake Raven Shield. New engine and they should add stuff that Vegas has.

  • @lanmi9659 A "little" more tactics ? Vegas : Choose a weapon over barely 40 of them for one guy whom you're forced to control who's got a team of two guys on his ass and each has got to take 5 (in realistic) bullets to go down, and you can get them back up with one injection.

  • @gilless429 Isn't the same here? But with a little more tactics?

  • @gilless429 Now how would you know that?!!
