Running around the backhand is not a flaw: this is a technique that Federer himself uses all the time.
-
Azarenka owns this matchup because Stosur's so predictable: kick serve to Azarenka's backhand, her strength. Then Stosur tries to run around backhands to hit forehands, and Vika runs her everywhere.

azarenka is one of my favourite players, i admit that at first, her grunts were annoying, but i guess i just got use to them, and other grunts from players. :p i dont know why ,but i srsly dont care about grunts anymore, its weird lol :p

@brendaninlondon yea she was horrid this match, way too many unforced errors, you cant do that against a good player like azarenka. For some reason azarenka onws stosur atm, needs to find a way to break the hoodoo some other top players have on her (venus williams, kim clisters) if she is ever going to reach the pinnacle of womens tennis.

@wozniacki15 SO agree with you. What do you expect, lots of Maria worshipers here and for them, she really can't do nothing wrong.
-
i can't stand how folks give azarenka shit for shrieking when sharapova shrieks so much louder than her
-
stosur is really mediocre

thanks hawaiianguy!

Azarenka appears to handle the kick serve very well, she's been very successful against Stosur and occasionally troubles Serena. When she does this, you can see that she really attacks their first and second serves, taking them early and on the rise to prevent the spin from pushing her back.
yes it was and the biggest grunter won. it really is a joke that she grunts this loud. even when she hits a drop shot. not a fan of hers at all.
Sam will be playing her again next week in the second round of San Diego. Hopefully Sam will play like a No.5 this time instead of a No.105.

@brendaninlondon Agree, Sam played terrible making nearly 40 unforced errors.
