Serbian Chamber of Commerce is an independent professional busi?ness association promoting interests of enterprises, entrepreneurship and other forms of organizations involved in the economic activity on the terri?tory of the Republic of Serbia bound by common business interests. Relying on experience, accepting euro continental type of chambers of commerce and respecting its own tradition, the Law on Chambers of Commerce regulates functioning of chambers of commerce in Serbia in the contemporary environment.
Serbian Chamber of Commerce is a national leader in rep?resenting the general interests of economy and its needs. Our aim is to encourage the creation of strong competitive climate and legislature beneficial for profitability and growth of its members, to effectuate better business conditions for the businesses in Serbia regardless of their size and activity, to open international markets for them, to improve standard and contribute to the development of the Republic.

Serbian Chamber of Commerce implements multilateral co?operation through its membership in different international chamber associations (ICC, Eurochambres, ABC, ASCAME), regional initiatives (CEI/CECCI, BSEC, Danube Initiative) and by following the work of World Trade Organization (WTO).
Serbian Chamber of Commerce is the most serious partner of the Government in the creation of the modern Serbian econo?my, globally oriented and beneficial for all its citizens. Serbian Chamber of Commerce has a long standing tradition of 150 years. In 1857, the Prince of Serbia, Aleksandar Kara?evi?following the trade chamber model of other European coun?tries, promulgated the founding act of the trade association called Trade Board. This founding act represents the starting point of the economic associations in Serbia, thus initializing the tradition of the Chamber of Commerce in Serbia.
