Well, after seeing Ultramarines, and frankly liking it a lot more than I expected, I decided to upload this scene.
I know that this video required no skill whatsoever, but I just wanted to have it uploaded.
Thank you for watching.
If you have not seen Ultramarines, buy it, or watch it on youtube here:

  • There is something wrong =/ I KNOW there is supposed to say something on the slow-mo bullet, I have seen this whole movie, but i can't see it in the vid, it's just a blank bullet.. why? I am so confused..

  • @Dahxelb That's another scene. On the bolt that is flying out of the Heavy Bolter, there is the incision "Kill the Heretic.",but again, that's another scene.

  • I thought chaos marines were much older and more powerful then normal space marines? Like in some books there are only 1 or 2 chaos marines running an entire system to find some old artifact or something. Or am I thinking of some other chaos thing?

  • @CaptainFeltcher It depends really.

  • I call complete bullshit of the "Inexperienced" thing here. I think even the film makers forgot that Marines spend over a hundred years training for war and have to prove themselves in battle as scouts before they get their power armour. There's no "First time" about it. If they got their power armour without being in the 10th Company first, then there's a continuity error here.

  • @TheHORIARI Dude, uhm.....I'd have loved to be th one to make this, but I doidn't, this was a scene from a movie.

  • @Tighen31305 There suppose to be mindless horde of blood crazy fucked in the mind ones not a normal black legion unit these have gone mad or some shit.

  • BURN HERETIC!!!!!

  • @WolfFawkes Aww man, that stings. Shit. Yeah, I understood the Higher Purpose. Doesn't save the flaws of the movie.

Abbadon is a shit leader. I don't know why he never won a single Black Crusade.

Perhaps Gamesworkshop sucks dick at telling stories.

Maybe they need a new story director.

  • if they really wanna hold out u aint got cover u make cover you use the corpses of your enemies or the living ones as meatshields G.O.W. style to press forward because being out in the open is by far the most suicidal thing a soldier could do. as the moto goes. take cover or die.

  • @Tighen31305 Black Legion? Tactics? Look. I'm not even going to argue the point. I'm just going to say Abbadon, 16 Black Crusades and Beaten by the Imperial Guard. You fill in the rest and assume I'm not bothering with someone who can't understand what "Higher purpose" means.

  • @WolfFawkes It's a corny movie. The fight scenes were horrid, and the tactics were shit. The Black Legionnaires wouldn't of lost any men if they stayed range. Clearly they're commander doesn't know shit, or it was purposely done to make the Chaos soldiers look like morons and the Ultramarines look like badasses.

    Fanwanking.

    Fanwanking to the max.

  • @wasp27 Power Armour is only powered enough to cancel it's own weight. It doesn't make them stronger, it just affords them the same level of protection you'd get from riding in a modern day armoured car.. Or perhaps morel like an average light tank from the late 1930s. So, small arms fire would bounce off them. Astartes bolter shells, which are .75 caliber AND rocket engine propelled for extra armour penetrating goodness.... won't bounce off nearly as much.

  • @Tighen31305 To be fair, they lost half their men by the end of the firefight.

Did you consider thought that they were using tactics? The headlong charge without intentionally over-running them right off gave their captain, who was possessed, enough opportunity to come back, "Rescue" them from a few extra Chaos marines, then "Escape" with them with the plan of ultimately bringing a Chaos incursion straight to Macragge. You sir, completely missed the whole damn story in your rage.

  • @Gamberbro237 Not really. The movie was pretty accurate aside from that. Often times marines are just very seriously wounded...but here, they couldn't be their normally "Pure awesomeness" because they're fighting an enemy who was similarly equipped. It's just Chaos has a problem having real warriors by this point. All the great ones died in the Horus Heresy before they were banished to the warp to become immortal.

  • But where are the dice?
