@ArpholomuleNutt Well, I am sure you are referring to the old critic argument that coincidences don't constitute the idea of "reversal" in situational irony. But, what critics don't realize is that people have been using the word "irony" rather vaguely for 150 years.. What is important to lexicographers is how people have used them over the past century, like the word "Ironically" is already in the dictionary and means odd or curious events, soon the whole word will be broadened.
