@exposed97 it's called the Golden Age of Gaming. It's like looking back in history. Enjoy dining on that asshole.

I just picked this game up on the Colecovision today! It's decent, but the running animation is a little funky compared to the 2600.
-
Pitfall's logo bears a striking similarity to the Myst logo.
-
I prefer Pitfall Harry's running animation on the 2600.

Wow, the Colecovision version looks great. NES quality graphics before the NES even was out in Japan.
-
I had no clue that Pitfall was on the Colecovision... I must get this.
-
On the 2600, Pitfall! was so successful, they released it on Atari Flashbacks 2, a must-have for old school fans.

I still have my Atari from around 80-81.
I got Chopper Command, Star Wars TESB, and many more. I remember we used to play Pitfall a my freinds house.

@streettb Oh yeah. My friend and I discovered it purely by accident. You have to edge into the wall, wait til it sounds like you're constantly walking into it, then pull the opposite direction - WHOOSH! You're through!

@rescuehero942 they are pretty much the same. Looking from the vantage point of 25 years of computer graphics improvement, the difference between the coleco and 2600 versions is virtually indistinguishable.
Is it safe to assume that Pitfall was inspired by the Indiana Jones character?
