Our clients from Britain experience some great Chum Salmon Fishing just east of Vancouver British Columbia in mid October 2009. Chum Salmon Fishing in the Fraser River valley is great during October and November and it's common for our clients to hook into 10-40 fish each per day using true sportfish methods with our proven technique.

  • WHAT BAIT DID YOU USE I NEVER GOT A CHUM AND I ONT HAVE A BOAT WHAT SPOT ON THE FRASER CAN I GO TO GET ONE

  • @SilversidesFishing thanks!

  • @tromboneJTS we tie our jigs with marabou, rabbit and or schlappen. Adding a rubber curly tail can be good too.

  • @SilversidesFishing Great footage. Can I ask if you use standard rubber jigs or another variant. I would like to try it during our salmon run here in northern Sweden.

  • @Georooney You don't snag a fish in the jaw with a casting float and a fly. Snaggers use lead and a bare treble hook. Fish took the bait and possibly rejected it, but the hook set in the gill plate or under the lower jaw.

  • holy i always fish the stave for chum ya need a boat to get on the less crowded islands

  • Shucks, he snagged it. (Watch closely as the other guy removes the hook from beneath the fish's lower jaw.)

  • Yes I am =)
