Brazile was the reason why Gore lost too, believe it or not. She wanted to be the one who was responsible for Gore's victory, and she didn't want Clinton to campaign on his behalf because he would have taken her thunder. Hell, the Clinton Impeachment scandal was the reason why the Democrats were able to gain control of the US Senate in 2001. The Senate was split 50-50 after the election, and Jim Jeffords' depature from the Republican party in the spring of 2001 gave the Democrats a majority
