  • I really want to use the Beat Thang alongside of my G8. I think it should be a great added benefit with the G8. I also am thinking about trying to midi in on the Beat Thang from the G8 but am not exactly sure what this would do. Any of your advice is most welcome and I will for sure continue to monitor your videos.

    Thanks so much.

  • @pjb213 Thanks for visiting.. I appreciate it. As for connecting your G8 with the Beat Thang; it all depends on how you want the two to function together.

  • This is a great demo. I wish you would put out a series of "how to use" the Beat Thang. I purchased one and am trying to learn how to incorporate it with my Fantom G8 and guitar playing. I am an older person having a blast with the Beat Thang. Now if I really understood it's capability?

  • @pjb213 Thank you! I'll try to keep posting more useful info. You can also visit youtube dot com/beatthang and they too have a ton of video tutorials. As for connection to your G8; are you wanting to use it via MIDI or alongside? Please don't hesitate to ask any further questions you may have.

  • That's pretty cool. Ive been using my Akai LPK25 with my beat thang when I'm sitting still.

  • @Blindkite Oh okay that's cool!!! Sorry for the late reply! Thanks also for watching.

  • Can't wait get the beat thang hardware.....allthough it seems like it's a long way with the price....messed around with one at a best buy and loved it even though i didn't now what i was doing haha

  • I am wanting to just setup the Beat Thang to play along with the G8 and start them both at the same time. I am not sure if this can be done or not. I like the beats in the Beat Thang and I like certain sounds off the G. Triggering both at the same time is something I have not figured out. I think I can also play sounds off the Beat Thang with a midi cable from my G out to the in of the Beat Thang? Thanks for the tutoring you are giving me.

  • @haha13151 Thank you!

  • that was pretty awsome.
