Deepika Calling Farhan

Farhan Akhtar and Deepika Padukone recently visited the studio of popular Radio station, Radio Mirchi. This radio station ran a contest where all Karthiks in the city could participate and win a chance to receive a surprise call from none other than Farhan Akhtar aka Karthik. It appears that, both pulled each others leg as they spoke about their roles, their first shot together and Farhans rockstar image after Rock on. Deepika discussed her role of Shonali Mukherjee, a Bengali girl who is extremely outgoing, an extrovert who loves to live life to the fullest and is a complete contrast to Farhans character Karthik who is shy and an introvert. She spoke about her favourite moves from the song Uff teri adda and her experience of acting drunk in spite of being a teetotaller! She went on to elaborate how she was apprehensive about having her hair cut for the role and later being convinced as Shonalis character with long hair was unimaginable.
