@andymgreen1 This comment amuses me because this person seems to honestly think that a fish would have a chance in hell of getting away from sharks after a two hour long battle on a line. The only thing cutting would've done is given some shark severe intestinal lascerations from injesting a discarded hook.

everyone is entitled to their own opinions and you don't have to attack they for it. but what i want to know is if they saw the shark at all. fish that big can dive extremely deep in seconds and there is no telling what happens underwater. yea it would be wrong not to cut it loose if they saw the shark or the attack but just like all the other videos of half eaten fish brought in they might have had no idea what was going on until the head came up to the surface

@nightchild02 good point. I was going to make that clear in the last response but ran out of room. No one knew the sharks were there until it was too late. It was a shame to lose should a great fish but it does makes for a good video that sparks a lot of conversation. Thanks for your comment
