Ayat Al Kursi (2:255) The Verse of the Throne
This version includes the recitation of the English by Sheikh Hamza Yusuf.

The Greatest Verse revealed was Ayat al-Kursi, "Allah! La ilaha illah Huwa Al Hayyul Qayyum

Whoever recites Ayat Al-Kursi immediately after each prescribed prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering paradise except death.

In Surat al-Baqarah there is a verse which is the best of all the verses of the Quran. It is never recited in a house but Shaytan leaves: Ayat Al-Kursi

When you lie down in your bed, recite Ayat Al-Kursi until the end of the ayah, then you will have a protector from Allah and no Shaytan (devil) will come near you until morning.

Continue reciting Ayat Al-Kursi. This will be a means of protection for you, your children, and even those houses which are near your house.

  • there is error in test of aaya, at " min ilmi hee" .

  • @chmuhammadamar

Selaam aleykum, thank you for your comment. It is not an error, it's actually the more common way of transcribing the letter 'Ayn (which looks like a backwards 3, for anybody who doesn't know) - the sound does not have an equivalent in English and most standard transliterations of the Quran include a "capital A" to represent it: so the word is correctly transliterated as min Ailmihi - from His Knowledge.

  • (cont'd) - and since it is not necessary to recite all three ayats, most people start by learning just ayat al Kursi - and yes brother, this is the entire ayat.

    Jazakum Allah Khair.

Selaam Aleykum Brother, MashAllah, it sounds like you have been taught to recite Ayat Al Kursi (2:255) as well as the 2 ayats that come after it, 2:256-257. May Allah reward you for that. I have no plans to post more surahs for now but perhaps one day I will post those three ayats because it is very common to read all three - however the best Ayat in the Quran is ayat al Kursi and that is the one we need to recite after prayers and at night.

  • @ReadSurahsnDuas Ayat Al Kursi. Salaam brothers. I have been taught to recite the FULL Ayat Al Kursi upto Khaledoon. Would be so nice to hear the entire Ayat.

A good reciter and the English translater. Jazak Allah.
