Maybe, but Scott Sonnon is an international kickboxing champion who trained with the Russian national boxing coach, Petr Pashkov, so probably not.

Whatever... But the thing is I like how he deliver his blows. It's clear that there is enough power behind his punches that could send anyone down the canvass. It's like "an iron ball attached to a chain that goes WHAAANNG". (Now where did I heard this statement before?)

No Matter what skeptics say about systema, or any Russian fighting art, they all hit like pipes, never been hit harder, and they pretty much all have the same elusive movement, so its not something made up, its been carried down thru generations.
