How to trace your pattern pieces on fabric.
Make sure the pieces are aligned with the lengthwise grain of the fabric to minimize warping or stretching of your panel pieces.
Use erasable markers, pencils, or chalk to trace your panels.
In this tutorial I go step-by-step how to use a double tracing-wheel to make both the sewing line and the cutting line (with the seam allowance in between).

  • @MissTerymeat No offense taken. :) When I originally filmed this, the lines did show up on camera but they "disappeared" when the video was compressed during upload. But you're correct, I do make the lines darker and easier to see in my other videos.

  • I remember the first time u uploaded this! I couldn't see the lines u made at all. :p I still can't XD (but I remember one of your later vids had more visible lines, I'm not saying it to be mean!)
