Geometric patterns recorded from the pavements of Australia. Music by George. Who is the pavement artist, do you know who created these geometric drawings. Was it you?

  • Cheers. Glad you liked it and good to capture George singing it was a very special day for me and I loved the pavement art. Sad to hear he passed away! Great voice. Take care and much love to you all. Paul

  • That would be amazing, Thank you.

    Paul

  • Thanks very much, where are you then? I guess you are in Nimbin? I was there as a tourist in Nov 2004. I would love to return one day. I live in West Yorkshire England. Thanks for your interest. Paul

  • I think they are the work of Elijah O'Brien. He does them on the footpaths too, and likes anything geometric.

  • Thank you for this information, I am delighted. How do you know these details? tell me more please!! Have you seen them on the pavements yourself? Do you know if he is still doing them and if I can contact him? I am an artist living and working in west yorkshire England and am inspired - so much so that I have developed some work myself and in doing so have an exhibition next month at dewsbury town hall.

Would love to know if i can contact him.

    Regards

    Paul

  • Well... I for one like this

  • thank you for this vid..igrew op in nimbin and the bloke singing is my uncle george...like a father to me growing up...thank you again

  • Nimbin is having a Chalk for Peace day in conjunction with an international one, in mid September. We will try to video it and post.

  • He grew up here. Saw him today doing new ones in the "blister" outside the lane.I mentioned this clip to him. He said people often photograph or film him when he's drawing. No idea if he'd be interested in contact. If I see him anytime soon again, I'll ask.
