I am wondering if you have any lessons about the 1 stroke radicals....I would be more interested about the reading of them since the meaning is sometimes null

I remember the hito kanji, with the strong bar up top, strong man has a dog, the little dash up top next to him is his dog.

犬!やああああああ

So, all dogs are big dots, ne? I guess, from a certain distance, that's true ^^.

All dogs at Uni walk backwards?

犬 [practice typing kanji!] (^_^)

The kai in kaiinu, is the kanji used in th verb kau - to keep (a pet or other animal); to raise; to have; to own; to feed.
So perhaps kaiinu could also mean a raised dog.

Yes, thanks I do still want to know about stuff like that! Thanks!

that's weird how that second radical isn't even in the kanji itself.
or maybe it used to be included in an ancient version?
I've always viewed this kanji as a front view of a dog, with the little dash as one of the floppy ears.
猛犬 もうけん savage dog is another compound word that uses this kanji.
