Mughal e Azam song by Mohammad Rafi sahab Zindabad Zindabad and an anecdote

Naushad Sahab has narrated a lot of anecdotes about this movie in his interviews. My favorite is that K.Asif Sahab wanted the present world Tansen to sing the Tansen song. Naushad Sahab's view was that Bade Ghulam Ali Khan was the present day tansen, but he would not agree to sing in a commercial movie. Nevertheless, K.Asif and Naushad Sahab approached Badu Ghulam Ali Khan sahab for a meeting. Bade Ghulam Ali Sahab, refused and finally out of deceny and to wriggle out of the situation, proposed an exorbitant amount (around Rs 50000/- if my memory serves me right for the song). K. Asif sahab took a deep drag from his cigarette, and with a chutki, tapped out the Ashes, and said : Sahab Aap Ki Kimat is se kahin zyada hai, diya! (Sir your value is much more than this, done). And thus Bade Ghulam Ali Sahab sang two numbers, Shub Din Aayo and Prem Jogan Ban Ke (I think the only one in Hindi films) for the movie! His most reputed disciple, Md Rafi Sahab sang this wonderful number
