And people took the piss out of Duke Nukem taking ages to develop... Kirby's Epic Yarn took 17 freaking years!

Now everything makes sense, Kirby's Epic Yarn was inspired by a 17 years old commercial, after that, they developed the game and remember, where they used this style earlier, it was Kirby's Adventure, so why not make a game after Epic Yarn which the commercial based on, so Nintendo developed Kirby's Return to Dreamland (Kirby's Adventure Wii in Europe).

But seriously, I laughed a lot after seeing this commercial and reading these comments. ^.^

Nintendo looked back at this commercial and possibly thought of Kirby's Epic Yarn.

A few months later they lokked back at kirby's epic yarn and said
