In Brazil, Sugarloaf Mountain gives great views over the city of Rio De Janeiro. From ground level, the cable cars go up to the Urca mountain arrivals station and there are some good views from there. Walking across the top of Urca mountain, you reach the departure station, where cable cars take you up to Sugarloaf Mountain (SM). Stunning views, weather permitting, can be had from the many viewing areas. Although we began our trip in perfect weather, twenty minutes after reaching the top of SM, a thunderstorm began and we just managed to leave in time before the full force of it took hold. Earlier, I took a clip of the cable car arriving back at the ground station, and I added this at the end to round off the clip. Thanks for looking!
Do you have to wipe your feet before boarding, i think its a Brazilian tradtion :)

Hi, I asked around my Brazilian friends but they are not aware of this tradition, but they also said, as Brazil is such a big country, some traditions remain local rather than becoming a countrywide practice.
You may well be right about this then, but it's a new one to me. Thanks!
