I lived in an apartment building built in 1919, the landlord had paperwork stating there had been an abatement done 5 yrs prior to us moving in. My son was 8 months old, hes 5 now and we just moved out. He went for a lead test and his level was 10 which is a little high. He was diagnosed at 15 months of age with autism, but recently got a diagnosis of mentally retarded. Im wondering if perhaps this may have something to do with the lead. Doc wont chelate him and tells us he is not harmed by it.

My house was built 1907, I guess I better stop sucking on the walls.
