  • Very nice rocket launch and flight! I see this, and several other large scale model rockets on youtube, and I'd like to know where one can obtain such huge rocket motors, or are they homemade? I'd like to build my own large rocket someday, I'm tired of my little Estes, though they were fun. Any pointers?

  • Search for Tripoli Rocketry Association, join, go L2 at least and if you get to the right launches you'll get to meet the people who build their own. It can be dangerous work so learn the safety and the formulas. Be safe, good luck.

  • Do you have to be in a non-populated area to launch a rocket this size?

  • Non populated area, FAA clearance, buffer zone for recovery, safe distances for public etc etc A lot of work goes into every launch ahed of time

Stop bragging about your G size rockets.

    No one actually cares.

The rockets I,m working on are K-M class, You don't see me shooting up all the comments bragging.

  • Holy shit i wanna ride that!

  • Very nice! Where I live fella launched a 4 foot model of Apollo. The detail was fantastic and it was launched on a pitchers mound at the park. It went up 3 feet and coasted sideways, tilted and shot like a bullet straight at homeplate where it crashed and then spun about 30 times while everybody ran for their lives.

  • WOW. That is fantastic! Love the rocket too! Was that a full scale patriot?

  • excellent

  • The sound is wrong. HAHAHA

    Wow, nice rocket.

  • Read the comments. It's not a homemade motor.
