A video I took to show my vet. Cuchulain was grumpy, lethargic, sitting around weird, and wouldn't even eat a piece of cheese until I held it the right way. Then it took a lot of tries, and it was difficult. He wouldn't let me look at his mouth, which was odd for him.
Oh, and I hadn't seen him at the food bowl, and he seemed to be having some trouble drinking water. Worrisome.
Luckily his heart and lungs sounded fine to the vet. Likely problem: a sore not-quite dislocated jaw, bruised/irritated larynx, or sore/cut mouth from an atenolol administration mishap. In my defense, I've been pilling him for years, currently give him 4 pills a night, and this was the first time we've had a problem like this.
Subcutaneous fluids at the vet office and hoping it improves some by tomorrow.
Poor Cu. But he ate lots of Pill Pockets at the vet and got the Absolute Crack Food: Science Diet a/d. AND he doesn't have to take his pills tonight
lol at 0:42 it was like "hmm! not bad"
