@christianfinkjensen The questions might be slightly rhetorical in that they are supposed to force Gibbs to show that the administration isn't truly transparent. The redundancy is to prove a point.

gibbs....what a absolute moron...Also not a smooth enough liar for the this white house. Neither is Jay Carney. In fact, I dont think there is ANYONE that has the ability to lie as frequently and as well as the current administration wants them to. If you took the best used car salesman, best low end retail stock broker, AND cass sunstein, rolled em all up into one...you STILL wouldnt have a good enough liar for obama and his clique of shysters.

The questions asked, are rhetorical- which Gibbs demonstrates, and the journalist acknowledges. The answer to the question is obvious, which makes the asking of the question redundant and/or irrelevant.
