Maiden flight of my new electric DH1 Chipmunk from Black Horse Model at the flying field in Invergordon in Scotland. The airplane flew perfectly with hardly any trim needed. The model is powered by an AXI 4120/14 with a 5S 5000 mAh LiPo and a 12x8 prop.
It does indeed fly very nice indeed. I think I have more torque issues because the AXI 4120 revs to maximum RPM in about a quarter of a second :-). I also need full right rudder to keep it going straight on take-off.

I got an os 70 in mine and flys like a dream. i havent had much trouble with torque but it did try to tip stall.

Great, yes, you need to give a lot of right rudder, and the torque is not to be sniffed at. You can turn the plane upside down by simply opening the throttle! Mine has also got quite a nasty tip stall I need to keep an eye on!

I have the same plane with a O.S. .91 4-stroke engine. Super flyer. A little touchy on take-offs and landings. Getting used to it.
