  • @amathew711 hey RELAX dude, I meant well and not to put down anyone. I am a regular at the gym and have done my fair share of rehab for a bad shoulder due to poor form in the past -that's why I am particular. Holding it vertical is alright, but if done properly with an overhand grip you shouldn't feel discomfort at your joints -and you will not discount flexibility over strength conditioning. In fact I advocate compound exercises because I am a martial artist. Do what you feel best either way...

  • @birdy808 you mean as in flexing the wrist downwards when the arm is at shoulder height?
