@sexyrexysexy The next 2 pairs had the headphone jack bust. But, the people at B&O are VERY easy and fun to work with, and they were replaced without question. The ones I got now are WHITE, too. Look awesome! B&O certaintly has a niche. Their products are works of art. And, they are insanely simple to use. The Beolab 5s have all the amps and a subwoofer built into them, and all you'd need is an Apple TV to make them work. No $22,000 stereo speaker system is that simple.
@sexyrexysexy I've had the A8 earphones for a couple years now. They are actually good; I'd say B&O's best product. They look nice, and are VERY comfortable. However, they're not the most durable things. I'm on my 4th pair. The first pair, which I had for 3 months, had the plastic caps on the end of the earhooks break off, which caused the rubber tubes to fall off (B&O should glue them on).
The JL Audio 12 in. Fathom would destroy the Beolab 2, and they're the exact same price. Pretty much anything B&O makes is blown away by anything costing the same.
And I did hear the Beolab 8000s with the Beolab 2, and they still sounded like piss. The sub seems kind of weak, especially at lower volumes.
These things are a joke for how much they cost ($5000). If you want real performance, but you still want a similar look, get Paradigm's Millenia 300s powered by an Anthem Statement A2 amp, which together would cost about half the price of these. Heck, add a JL Audio 12 in. Fathom subwoofer for some SERIOUS bass (BTW the 12 in. Fathom is the same price as the Beolab 2, but totally destroys it).
@falkenlaser I got my A8s as well - You're saying you can get them to give you a different color of A8s should you need a replacement??

My uncle have a Beosound 3200 (2000£) with four Beolab 8000s (2200£), and it got stolen twice within a month some time ago, hehe, bummer.
