@TheMusicJunky25 - It's about the dissolution of marriage...and the loss of someone significant. Note: the mess of the place (bottles everywhere - he's drinking heavily) and how he drops the picture of himself & his SO on the way to his own destruction. I think -- at least how I "read" it -- is that he is so destroyed by what has happened that he no longer wants to live...and hence the fantasy of self-immolation.
