  • @Chantybinx I'm so shocked reading this. May Mambo rest in peace. :(

  • He was in so much pain. He couldn't even eat anymore. We were hoping to fight the cancer, but the tumor just got exponentially worse over the last 24 hours, it would have been even worse if we waited longer.

I love you Mambo, more than anything. You will always and forever be my angel.

  • The dog featured in this video, Mambo, is my dog. I regret to inform you that, after a brave battle of orbital chondroblastic osteosarcoma, we had to put him down today. Last year, he had a tumor growing behind his eye, which was removed. Then 3 weeks later, it grew back. The oncologist at the university of Guelph removed not only the tumor, but the surrounding skin and bone. That was May 4th 2010. Over the last 3 weeks, the tumor had grown back, and over the last 24 his entire face was swollen.

  • @crazypianolady I was just being sarcastic to this vid but basically during training with the new owner they walk the usual routes they would take lots of times. To the bank, shops, work, friends houses, taxi rank etc. but it is up to the owner to learn the routes, the dogs job is just to guide; around hazards, find doors, kerbs, crossings (Some have even been trained to press the button!) etc. Hope that helped.

  • @EightPaws4Hoof Yeah I've always wondered that. Like if you need to go to the bank..how does it know where it is?

  • Yes but how does the dog know which door you want unless you have been there loads before?

Guide dogs are amazing but not mind readers!

  • hola un saludo desde colombia
