"Over the past two weeks, nearly 200 UC Berkeley students took a simple, multiple choice quiz on the history of the communist revolutions of the 20th century. On average they correctly answered only 41% of the time. This is a shameful state of affairs.

The reason for this is that at UC Berkeley, basic, well-documented facts and understanding about these revolutions have been misrepresented, distorted, and suppressed.

Guys like Raymond Lotta tell this rubbish because they built their rubbish career around it. I am still curious to find out whether he himself really believes the nonsense he is babbling or not.

Hmmm. Well considering that the people who marked those tests probably believed that Stalin and Mao were nice guys, I wouldn't put much faith in the accuracy of that statistic.
