Wow..i remember seeing this in the theater Savannah with DD Josh, my running buddy at the time. We each had a 2-liter soda, a garbage bag (each) full of popcorn. later the chick behind the counter got really high with us. which was cool, but she was one of those quiet 'gotta-pay-attention-to-every- word-i-say-i-am-serious' type. which somehow managed to get resolved when she found herself handcuffed to the chair. i'm not sure because we went out the back. a fond memory

Sounds more "modern Rockabilly" so maybe The Slapbacks? I know Ricky's sons "Nelson" did an album of his songs, but it doesn't sound like them.
