As part of my lessons I'm taking this summer on music composition (especially related to FILM SCORING), I had to create my own original score for this short scene from one of my movies: Raiders of the Lost Equation. Some of you may have seen the movie, most of you won't and never will, but this is still my first fully original composition! Please enjoy it, I muted the video part so you can enjoy the music alone.

Just on the side, keep in mind that the movie was edited to different music (I used Indiana Jones music, and now as a project I'm rescoring the movie with my own music), so not all of my little musical cues match up perfectly. Had I used this actual song for the movie, I'd adjust the shots a bit so they matched the movie better.

  • i liked the music..the only part that was wierd was when the girl is upset that wikipedia doesn't have info on the Raiders of the Lost Equation it seems too happy...

  • The idea is that it's a triumphant moment because she failed to find the information. I didn't do a good job of conveying that in the actual movie anyway, which might have added to the confusion.
