@ebooklibrary27 The learning is don't drink and drive. It's always tragic.

So sad, we lost one of the comedic greats way too soon. Wish you were still with us Sam.

tragic shit. a million laughs we will never have.

I agree 100 fucking percent. It's mind boggling, the lack of logic on display.

I have a problem with these people talking about God wanting Kinison for himself. So Father God, who loves us, orchestrates and executes the equivalent of a Mafia hit? Injures and widows the woman who loved him? And lets the kid who did it basically walk away from it? All so He can have a laugh? This is a frightening mind-set. If there is a beyond, he probably went to a nicer plane of existence, but the idea of God taking him away via a drunk teen driver, does not gel with me at all.
I remember when that accident happened! I was rolling down the hwy heading towards Vegas from Yuma AZ.
I heard someone on the CB radio mention that there was an accident that just happened, It happened a couple of miles behind me after I had rolled through where it had happened! As I was rolling through Nebraska the next day late afternoon. I heard on the FM radio that it was Sam's accident! Man I was shocked to hear that! He was one of the greatest!

Sam Kinison was born in Yakima, Washington and soon after moved to Illinois. He grew up in and attended Peoria and East Peoria. I attended the same High School as Sam and still live in the same town. Sam's old home is now a car wash and there's not even a street, memorial, or even sign to let people know this is where he grew up. Sam is a legend who deserves a little more recognition especially from the place he called home.
