COME ON III & SHAWNA HARDING, INTERM KUR, '08 USEF FESTIVAL

Come On III and Shawna Harding scored 70.20 and took 5th place in the Intermediaire Freestyle at the 2008 Collecting Gaits Farm/USEF Dressage Festival of Champions held at the Oaks Blenheim in San Juan Capistrano, California on Sunday June 29th, 2008.

Shawna has ridden all of her life and was given her first horse when she was only three years old and went on to compete with many different breeds in many different discipilines, both English and Western. Shawna has had the opportunity to work with Olympian John Winnett, Palle Thompsen, Dr. Reiner Klimke, Jurgen Koschel, Fin Grave and Anna Mervelt, all of whom were influential in her development in dressage. Shawna has had extensive experience living and competing in Germany, and was awarded a German Riding License Class 2. She found "Come On III" as a young horse which she was asked to train and sell for owners/breeders. But it didn't take long for her to realize that "Come On III" had the "special something" every rider looks for in a top dressage horse. They've now been a team for several years. As "Come On III" continues to demonstrate that he has the talent, personality and work ethic to become a formidable Grand Prix competitor someday. They have captured numerous CDI and USDF Regional Championship wins at the Intermediaire I level, and were Reserve National Champions at the 2007 USEF National Developing Horse Dressage Championship for 7-9 years olds. Shawna now calls the charming equestrian community of Aiken, South Carolina home, and is based at the Black Forest Equestrian Center.
