Cheryl Cole has been auto-tuned to stardom, her fame is based on appearance, her popularity is grounded on superficiality. Whereas Adele, who some consider to be unattractive, has become successful purely via skill, hard work and quality of sound. We have the right to criticise, criticism creates quality, it's healthy.
