  • how much would you charge to do a portrait of someone??? and how big would you draw it? I would like to know... thanks!

  • I draw for free. Size depends on location of requester and the quality of reference. ~daisie~

  • omg thats fantastic

  • @jjenny333,

    Thank you very much:)

  • can you teach me how to do that triangulation pls...thanks...I am a beginner..I'm gonna post my first portraits next year...thanks..

  • Pick any 2 points and repeat the process. The drawing is composed using these points as reference. This technique is probably best demonstrated or taught in person. I draw mostly by feel and don't know all the terms to describe the drawing process well.

  • Thank you:) No formal training but like you, I enjoy looking at others' work and this teaches me a lot. ~daisie

  • YOUR AWESOME!!! Where did you do your schooling, or were you self taught? The way you did the hair...it's amazing...

  • thanks...i understand now what is triangulation...if you are drawing by feel,we do have the same technique...i am also drawing by finding first what is the mood of the object or picture

  • It's not that clear to me but i am really glad you shared that technique .perhaps i will try to analyze and try it..Thank you for saying that i draw well.but I will practice more.thank you...

  • You draw very well yourself:) Teaching is beyond my scope but I'll try to explain it to you. Simply put, triangulation starts with 2 very accurate points on the paper. From these points, more points are laid down using angles. For example, extend 2 imaginary lines from point #1 and #2 at the correct angles and point #3 is where these 2 imaginary lines meet...see next post
