What about shogun vs machida 2? was that not an exiting match? also sometimes you just have to put fights together regardless of if you think it will be boring, just because the fight is relevant and makes sense.i mean how the fuck can brandon vera even be considered for a title shot?

Shogun vs Machida 1 was a slow and very technical fight. Trust me if I was new to this sport I wouldn't want to watch that shit. I would want to see two guys going at it trying to knock the other head off. That's what they're trying to attract here. They learned their lessons on FOX 2 with 2 wrestlers fighting it out and it was boring as hell. Not a good way to attract new fans.

I can't even imagine that vera will win this fight. its not gonna happen in my opinion. this man drops to LHW than gets beat up 3 times in a row. he is in better condition now though. but beating up shogun? i dont think so. WAR SHOGUN!!!!!!

Yeah you have a point, if you where talkin about anyone else than Vera,

Im tellin you there is no way Shogun gonna loose,

And yeah Matt Serra cought GSP...Matt Serra is also very educated fighter and coach with faaar more deadly hands than Vera.

There where many people that was tellin for the fight that if Serra touches the chin of GSP he would be in trouble.

but yeah in some extreeme Magnolia like incedent I could be... but It would be as unlikely as the Shotgun scene in Magnolia, or itsRIGGED

Wow. All I have to say is that was an awful countdown show! Then again I was kind of expecting it coming from Fox. Smh....UFC+Fox=monkey fucking a coconut.
