@BrownHassassin that's pretty good, but not totally accurate. Quetzalcoatl represents a being who is fully God and fully Human within Himself. Coatl also means, "twin", but for those who speak Mexican, the term Coatl (coate) has a deeper meaning because totally unrelated people call each other coate, to mean that they are "twins", the same soul. Quetzal is way of saying precious. so...Precious Twin. And this does not refer to two separate beings but Two beings in One.

the serpent is brings self awarness and realization. You can acheive this through meditation. Its called kundilini (sry about spelling). Its energy in the bottom of your spine that will centre your solar centre's" or "chakras" . 2012 represents the dawn of the age of aquarius. were at the end of age of picies..(hence the symbol of the fish in christianity). The new symbol will be a guy with a water bucket. Aquarius represence knowledge or the revealing of the true. Exciting !!!!!
