No president has the power to improve an economy. This is as it should be. The only power any politician has over the economy is negative - that is, they have the power to drag it down. Some do - see Hoover, FDR, Johnson, Ford, Carter, George W. Bush, and from the looks of it, Barack H. Obama. Some do not - see Eisenhower, Kennedy, and Reagan.

I love how you say "Reagan's policy was a time-tested one that worked" wow of course Reagan is yours and the republicans messiah and was the greatest president of all time according to you guys. It's funny how it was acceptable to allow Reagan to try his ideas in fixing the economy and see if it worked. Obama has his own way and its not okay by you and others just because he is a democrat.
