St. Catherine of Siena, OP

Fr. Kevin McGrath, O.P., subprior of the Dominican House of Studies (Washington, DC), preaches on the feast of our sister, St. Catherine of Siena. Fr. McGrath's homily integrates historical understanding of St. Catherine's time and culture, spiritual attention to her sanctity and doctrine, and insightful regard for contemporary issues surrounding the papacy and priesthood. We are encouraged to live "for the sake of God," and to trust in the ever present work of divine Providence, which is especially present "when the Church is suffering."
