When all is said and done, no, everything Tony did can never be redone, but to simply call him a villain is unfair. Think of it as fallen Angel complex, much like Harvey Dent. Here's a man who has lost everything that has ever mattered to him.

His wife, his unborn son, his job, his good name, all for what? So Alan Wilson could cover his tracks. And to see, just how far down Tony Almeida had fallen, to see the dark dark lengths he had gone, and was prepared to go through further to kill this man, to make him answer for all of his crimes and future crimes, really makes you feel for Tony. Not enough so to forgive him for everything he had done, but enough so that we know why he did what he did, the rest, is up to you to decide whether or not he can truly be called a villain.

Again, a big thanks to Thalin for his amazing quality, and obviously to the amazing composition of Sean Callery. Let's see how long this stays up before it somehow gets muted, shall we?

I think the saddest part of this entire climax is what it leads to. There is truly nothing left for Tony anymore. His wife and unborn son are dead, he betrayed possibly his best and only friend, he dug himself into a very deep hole he can never climb out of, and now he gets to rot in jail for possibly the rest of his life.

Everything that led to this climax, and he failed. Now Tony has nothing left to live for, so if he ever returned in 24, any "deal" would probably mean nothing to him.

You know what would be cool? If Wilson was sent to the same prison as Tony. Than that would mean Tony would be able to kill him.

@Pumpie Like hell Wilson was not a developed character, he was behind everything that happened in 24 according to the writers of the show. He was without thought the biggest villian in the series history without question. Season 8 sucked because they did not bring him back. If the movie does not bring back wilson the film will suck as well. Wilson behind every bad thing in 24 since day 4.
